I was born and raised on the Eastside of Detroit and baking is naturally in my DNA. At the tender age of seven, my love for baking ignited for the first time when I learned how to make what is now known as the Sasha Cake. Growing up, you would always find me making comfort food alongside my grandmother and aunts.

Once I realized how many people loved my delicious desserts and treats, my passion for creating delicious and memorable dishes blossomed into Monroe Sweets . Baking is a science and as a trained biologist and chemist, I continued to level up into one of Detroit's hottest businesses and entrepreneurs.

Perfecting recipes of my own have made me into the super dope baker I am today.
